Just recently, I came across a blog where I read about a free summer bowling program, KidsBowlFree. This is what the website states: “Children whose age does not exceed a limit by a participating bowling center are eligible to register for 2 free games a day, all summer long, courtesy of the participating bowling centers along with the schools and organizations.”
It is available in the USA and Canada at participating centers. Just thought you might want to check it out!
Another event I heard about is free flights for kids ( Canada only). Visit COPA for kids to see what this is all about! From their website: “COPA For Kids aviation program provides — free of charge — a motivational aviation experience, initiating young people to the science of flight. To find an event in your area go to Events.

Harmony Fine Arts – Sketch Tuesday. Every week, students can send in a drawing about a certain theme that can be found on this website. Our children love taking part in this. They draw while I read..:-) The only problem is that I often forget to take pictures of their drawings and send them in on time! 😉
Homeschooling Made Simple– From the Compass Classroom website: ” We are pleased to introduce a new series designed especially for homeschool parents. Carole Joy Seid has almost 30 years experience teaching thousands of moms and dads a literature-based approach to homeschooling. Her heartfelt desire is to make homeschooling simple, enjoyable and affordable. This is the first time she has put her material onto video: we think you’ll love it.”
They say that all you need is a Bible, a library card, and a math book. Sounds interesting. I’m definitely checking this one out! 🙂
